The Digital Fieldwork Project

This project creates computer-based materials for environmental studies. Our current work involves developing "Digital Fieldguides" for micro-habitats in and around Eugene, Oregon. These guides contain resources for students, teachers, and the general public who visit these habitats and "virtual field trips" for those living outside Eugene. The first fieldguide under development is for the Tsanchiifin Walk, a section of the West Eugene Wetlands Project. These wetlands are part of the remaining 1% of the "wet prairies"once common in the Willamette Valley. |
